‘The thoughtful little things you do each day have an accumulated effect on all our tomorrows.’ Alexandra Stoddard
Having enjoyed holidays in Bali, the people & culture I was devastated by the recent destruction, loss of life, hardship & heartbreak for the people of Lombok. I decided I could donate $ or I could donate my time, passion & trade and donate many more $. And this is where Lombok earth quake heart ache tees began.

Inspired by family friend Fiona Forrest and her teams continuous efforts to help people in need. Together we can make a difference. All profits will be donated to Fiona unity foundation.

Tents for Lombok

Tents for Lombok

4th – 6th September 2018

We travelled to Bayan where we met with Rudy Trekker who helped us locate the most desperate villages in need of tents. Here we supplied our first school tent to children in an outer village near Senaru. Trying to stay positive was very hard when we were surrounded in devastation.

Previously a school for 167 children ranging from 7yrs- 15yrs now only rubble 😢
Now these kids gave a safe place to study when the wet season starts starts.

Thank you to our sponsors McGettigan’s, ACAM, Elders, Lindemans, Albens, Carlsberg.
Thank You for your support Cilandak Rotary.

Fiona Unity Charity Drive 2018

A lot of highs and a lot of lows as I traveled for 3 days through the many Kampungs in North, West and Central Lombok distributing 600kilos of clothes and books, 350 kilos of rice, a wheel chair and money donated from Jakarta and Lombok. Together with my dear friend Helen Douglas and the amazing team of Endri’s foundation we sought out the poorest of the poor. Daily discovering more and more people desperate for help. Endri, as always, ready with his book open to document the help that is needed. To see the smiles this charity drive has brought was so fulfilling. To see the poverty and desperation that we faced daily has made me even stronger to raise awareness of the struggle and dispair these Forgotten people face every day.

A big thank you to Bapak Reza Bouvier and the Santika Hotel in Mataram for always supporting Fiona Unity Foundation and Lombok’s Forgotten Children, Endri’s Foundation. This donation will be delivered to the Blind Orphanage in Mataram.

Charity Climb Relocation

Due to the devastating earthquakes that are still ravaging Lombok we are sadly forced to relocate our annual charity climb to Gunung Salak in Bogor, Java. At the moment the situation in Lombok is critical and day after endless day the poor people of Lombok suffer in the extreme. Along with many others, the Fiona Unity Foundation is 100% behind Lombok Forgotten Children ,Endri’s Foundation and salute the tremendous work they are doing.
This annual climb is to build a centre to support Lombok Forgotten Children, Endri’s Foundation that will be the base for EF and in this current disaster would be invaluable.
We would like to invite all climbers to strap your boots on and climb with us, the climb for hope.
For more information on this climb please contact Fiona info@fionaunity.org
